Nepal is an abode of more than 19000 mountain peaks including eight peaks in the Eight Thousand Meter height club. 5. Chulu West (6419 m) and Chulu East (6584 m) Peak Climbing

Chulu West and Chulu East are popular peaks of Annapurna region of Nepal. These peaks can be compared to two popular peaks of Everest region as Island peak and Mera peak. First scaled by Japanese expedition group back in 1952 the Chulu West is the most popular among these two peaks. There are three distinct ridges in the Chulu range as West, Central and East. The Central is rarely scaled or attempted because of the technical difficulty.
